Priority Projects

When you become a LINK in the Chain of Change™, you will have an incredible opportunity to impact our 9 Priority Projects that are transforming the people and nation of Niger, Africa.

By clicking on each project title below, you can view how the funds have been allocated to impact each of these projects.

1. Niamey and Maradi Bible Schools
Students who attend the Bible Schools in Niamey or Maradi, Niger are studying to become pastors and will return to their villages to help those people in need and bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to their people.

2. Master's Commission
The Master's Commission helps guide Niger's youth in choosing and deciding their life's path. The youth are then given the opportunity to go to Bible School and become a pastor, to evangelize in their home region, to become a missionary, or to become a community leader.

3. Church Construction
There are very few churches in Niger. Though the government has given some land to the local Christians to build churches, the missionaries and local people still need the finances to build the churches and purchase additional parcels of land.

4. Medical Clinics
Currently there is only one hospital in Niamey, Niger. This serves the entire nation of Niger. Land was miraculously given to the Christian s to build a medical clinic in Maradi. Funds are needed to build and equip many more clinics.

5. Wells
In Niger, water is a precious and scarce resource. Funds are needed to provide a well for every village in Niger and water delivery solutions for areas close to a water source. Filtration systems to current wells or water sources are also needed.

6. Orphanages
Due to the skyrocketing number of orphans in Niger, Chain of Change™ is committed to building orphanages. These homeless children need to know that someone loves them. They need hope and a place to call home.

7. Education (Schools)
Only 18% of the population can read and over 50% of the population is under the age of 15. There is a great need for establishing schools and providing sponsorship funding for teachers, students and school staff.

8. Business Development and Famine Relief
By teaching the people of Niger how to establish and maintain their own businesses, they will be better able to sustain themselves now and into the future.

9. Support of Missionaries and Construction Coordinators
Funding is continuously needed to support the efforts for those called to full time mission work in Niger. With numerous construction projects underway, there is also a need for full time construction coordinators.

Here is a powerpoint presentation created for a recent LINKster that visited Niger. Enjoy!
